Hello Erica,

I'm quite sure that I am the last person to be asked about any performance-type question. lol. Having said that, I would suggest maybe highlighting the Moon's position during the solar eclipse. The Moon will be at 29 degrees in Cancer. It's like having one toe left in the sign Cancer (intuitive), while the rest of the body has already entered the sign of Leo (creative). The energy remains rooted in Cancer but quickly and eagerly moving into Leo.

Cancer is fluid and has depth while Leo is bold and bright like the Sun. As if introspection (Cancer) brightens the path (Sun) to external self-expression (Leo) that reflects the core (Moon).

Unsure if that could be of any help. Good luck and let me know how you decide to choreograph the movements!

Hi!

Yes, thank you so much for this information. Actually, I will be leading a dance class with a brief ritual at the end this wednesday for the new moon solar eclipse. I'm wondering if you might have some ideas that pop into your mind as far as movement choreography/symbols that might blend with my class?

The Sun has had a few days to settle into Cancer. My birthday has come and gone :) Mercury will soon join the Sun in Cancer. I hope that your days have been better since the Sun's encounter with Pluto last week. I'm not looking forward to the next couple of years when transiting Pluto's opposition to my Sun grows, perfects, and lingers.

Until then, though, I won't give it much more thought... or try not to.

I absolutely love your blog. I just forwarded it to my circle and I know they'll love it too.

I'm a Cancer and yesterday just sucked out loud. Not because of anything that happened outside of me, it was just that my sensitivity level(already quite high) was turned up to top volume and--you took the words right out of my mouth--I was experiencing "intense, raw reactions" internally. I thought to fight them or sage myself into oblivion, but I decided to sit home alone and let it all pass through me. It was amazing. Blog posts will follow!
